Nice to meet you!

I’m Jana, a Houston-based Designer and Digital Media Specialist.

I’ve had a passion for illustration since childhood while growing up on a farm. I was inspired by stories told across the ever-evolving media, and I seek to develop my storytelling abilities every day as a creative. When I decided to move to the big city, far away from home, I wanted to pursue animation as my career and give back to the communities that inspired me. I found that my university did not foster resources for animation in the ways I’d hoped, so my peers and I banded together to form the Animation Club - seeking to inspire other students and create more opportunities to learn and grow by hosting professional speaker events and workshops. I’m proud to be a co-founder and mentor of the Animation Club student organization and a graduate of the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Digital Media.

My time with Disney’s Internship program at ABC13 KTRK-TV has been invaluable, pushing me to develop my technical and soft skills working in a tightly woven, fast-paced environment as an individual and team member.
